Additional Information

The FANUC A06B-6079-H106 Servo Amplifier Module is a 1-axis, SVM1-130 model with a A16B-2202-0510 wiring board and a A20B-2001-0822 PCB. Before mounting the module, be sure to check all specification codes related to the amplifier. Mount a fault ground interruptor to guard against fire and electrical shock, and for the factory power supply or machine with a ground fault interrupter. Securely ground the amplifier by connecting the ground terminal and metal frame of the motor and amplifier to a common ground plate on the power magnetics cabinet. Be very aware of the amplifier weight and its corresponding components. Control motor amps and AC reactors are heavy, and one should be careful when moving or mounting them. Never short circuit or ground the power lines or power supply lines, and measures should be taken to protect them from stress such as bending. Be sure to use caution when handling the ends. Loose screws should also be guarded against, as they can cause a motor to malfunction, overheat, or even a ground fault. Do not ever touch the regenerative discharge resistor or radiator directly, as these can become extremely hot, and heat surrounding equipment.

After the wiring is completed, close the amplifier cover and do not disassemble the amplifier. When mounting, do not apply excessive force to plastic parts, as damaging a plastic section can cause internal damage to the part as well as sharp edges which can cause injuries. After mounting, steps should be taken to protect the amplifier from corrosive or conductive mist and condensation. Do not block the air inlet to the radiator, as this can reduce the useful life of semiconductors. Ensure that valid parameters are inputted, as specifying invalid parameters can not only prevent the motor from operating correctly, but also damage the amplifier. Adequate countermeasures against noise should be taken to ensure the normal operation of the A06B-6079-H106. Signal lines must be routed away from the power and the power supply lines.
